Arrival to Yangon, meet with our guide and transfer to hotel for check in
Yangon. Then Visit to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, a 70-meter-long reclining Buddha, the feet of the Buddha statue are curved with traditional symbols as its center piece to introduce Myanmar’s unique brand of Buddhism.
Finally visit to Shwedagon Pagoda - one of the wonders of the world and the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar. The local believe that it was built 2500 years ago.
The 8-sided central stupa is 99-meters tall, gilded with gold leaf, and is surrounded by 64 smaller stupas. Visit around the massive complex and learn why this temple is so revered among locals.
Then back to hotel and overnight in Yangon.
After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Bago for 2 hrs., and visit Bago - also known as Pegu, was the capital of the Mon Kingdom in the 15th century.
We start visit to Kyakhatwine Buddhist Monastery and spend time exploring Bago with the guide, learning about the history and legends of the city.
Visit the 55-meter long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha, the four seated Buddhas at Kyaikpun and the old palace of Kambozathadi, The Shwemawdaw Pagoda - the most outstanding religious monument in Bago.
Then back to hotel and overnight in Yangon
Breakfast at hotel. After that visit to Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott’s Market) - the major bazaar of Yangon. It is well known for its colonial architecture and inner cobblestone streets, dominated by antique, Burmese handicraft and jewelry shops, art galleries, and clothing stores.
Check out from the hotel then transfer to International Airport for departure.
