• Arrival to Yangon, meet with our guide and transfer to hotel for check in
Yangon. Then Visit to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, a 70-meter-long reclining Buddha, the feet of the Buddha statue are curved with traditional symbols as its center piece to introduce Myanmar’s unique brand of Buddhism.
• Finally visit to Shwedagon Pagoda - one of the wonders of the world and the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar. The local believe that it was built 2500 years ago.
• The 8-sided central stupa is 99-meters tall, gilded with gold leaf, and is surrounded by 64 smaller stupas. Visit around the massive complex and learn why this temple is so revered among locals.
• Then back to hotel and overnight in Yangon.
• After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Bago for 2 hrs., and visit Bago - also known as Pegu, was the capital of the Mon Kingdom in the 15th century.
• We start visit to Kyakhatwine Buddhist Monastery and spend time exploring Bago with the guide, learning about the history and legends of the city.
• Visit the 55-meter long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha, the four seated Buddhas at Kyaikpun and the old palace of Kambozathadi, The Shwemawdaw Pagoda - the most outstanding religious monument in Bago.
• Then back to hotel and overnight in Yangon
• Breakfast at hotel. After that visit to Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott’s Market) - the major bazaar of Yangon. It is well known for its colonial architecture and inner cobblestone streets, dominated by antique, Burmese handicraft and jewelry shops, art galleries, and clothing stores.
• Check out from the hotel then transfer to International Airport for departure.
